Safety
"The Catch me if you can Attitude has NO Place on our Job Sites!" Safety; Every Hour, Every Day, Always—
H.A. Sack Co., Inc. values the safety of our employees, subcontractors, our clients and those affected by our activities. Our commitment to these values begins with upper management and includes everyone down to the newest employee. In order to maintain our focus on the goal of establishing a safe work environment on all job sites we provide ongoing training for all our project managers and their respective superintendents, i.e. – OSHA 30 and 10 hour training, CPR/First Aid training, Georgia Soil and Water Conservation to mention a few. We also perform quarterly superintendent meetings which include safety topics such as ladder and scaffold safety, fall protection, personal PPE as well as for many other potential job site hazards our construction personnel may encounter on a daily basis. Our new hires go through a comprehensive power point training/test that includes all of our safety policies as well as many items they NEED to know at the jobsite. We make every attempt to be sure they are prepared when they arrive for their first day of work.
Our safety program has been updated many times over the last couple of years. We have been implementing new policies in an effort to promote continuous improvement and provide an environment that not only meets OSHA standards, but exceeds them. These initiatives have led to substantial progress in the reduction of incidents and injuries and we will continue to strive for an injury free work environment.
The Sack Company and SCM Inc., stress the importance of our employees being proactive members in the communities we work. We will endeavor to make and sustain improvements in our work place and in our safety culture and look forward to the opportunities that are presented and created through the relationships formed when working with current and new customers. We look forward to the possibility of working with you in the near future.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or require any additional information.
