Scope of Project
SCM, Inc. performed electrical and HVAC installations for the renovation of Burke County High School in Waynesboro, GA. The $4.3 Million renovation included seven classrooms and a state-of-the-art construction lab. Burke County Assistant superintendent, Wilbert Roberts, spoke the local paper and stated that, “the extra space will allow the school(s) to reduce class sizes and better accommodate special programs.”
The high school currently serves over 1,315 students in grades 9-12. School officials hope that this addition will allow schools to accommodate any population growth resulting from construction at Plant Vogtle.
