Scope of Project
The Sack Company is currently installing of all the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC units for this new, two-story high school. The $38.2 million school is being built in order to accommodate a growing student population. Students at Statesboro High School have been using the same, small high school for the past 40 years. The old Statesboro High School was only built to accommodate 900 students. Before the construction of the new school began, over 1,500 students, faculty, and staff used this building throughout the school year.
The construction at Statesboro High School is part of an ongoing school construction and revitalization initiative proposed by the Bulloch County Board of Education. The new school is being constructed on the same site as the existing school, which has remained open throughout the construction process. In order to ensure that school activities continued without disruption, The Sack Company maintained a strict schedule on this job site. The scope of work included demolition of the existing school.
