Bull Moose Tube

SCM, Inc. has performed several turnkey projects for Bull Moose Tube.  The first project involved relocating a slitter line, tube mill, and steel stacking system from Elkhart, IN to Trenton, GA.  We accomplishedthis within a strict 46-day timeframe.  This was the first time that Bull Moose Tube relocated a mill and met their start-up date.  This milestone enabled SCM, Inc. to form a long-lasting relationshipwith Bull Moose Tube.

The next installation involved a line that included a Branner slitter with an unwind stand, straightener, turnstile on the entrance, and a roll-up and turnstile on the end.  All of which required precision alignment and leveling to meet manufacturer’s specifications for proper operation.  This project too was completed and started up ahead of schedule.

Another flawless project was the installation of a steel conveying system as an addition to an existing tube mill.  The conveying arms were all hydraulically driven and required several hundred feet of various sized hydraulic piping.  Again, this project was completed ahead of time and within budget.
