Fleetguard

We began working with Fleetguard by relocating manufacturing equipment and associated items from four facilities in WI to one central facility in Waynesboro, GA.

The work included:

• Disconnecting equipment at existing facilities
• Crating and loading of equipment
• Transportation coordination to the new facility in Waynesboro
• Unloading
• Turnkey reinstallation (including electrical, controls, piping, and precision alignment) of equipment, including numerous presses up to 550-ton capacity, robotic welders, ventilation systems, and various other manufacturing systems.

Since SCM, Inc. provided a turnkey project for Fleetguard, we were able to coordinate all aspects of the project to include all modifications to the mechanical and electrical systems, as well as have all concrete pad/pits with reinforced rebar mat ready for equipment placement, to include one pad that was 8’x8’x24” thick with double rebar mat.
