Testimonial:
“None of the work performed by SCM, Inc. has required any repair or modification since its installation. This speaks volumes of the crew you had on this project… They are obviously very experienced, and I learned quite a deal from them. It is my sincere hope that I will have the opportunity to work with them again in the future.”
- Douglas Nielsen, Manufacturing Engineer, Briggs & Stratton
SCM, Inc. technicians utilize the latest laser tools to ensure that your machinery is perfectly aligned; laser alignment is 60 – 70% faster than other methods. Proper alignment reduces equipment wear and tear and can extend its life.
Our tools are top-of-the-line in terms of accuracy and performance. For coupling alignment, we use the Rotalign Pro by Pruftechnik AG, and for machine alignment, we use the Hamar L-723 Triple Scan Gold Series. The Hamar L-723 simultaneously measures straightness, flatness, squareness, and parallelism, with greater accuracy than any other tool available. Laser alignment does not require complete rotation to obtain accurate readings.
